Life is a journey....

I've recently had a lot of big changes in my life that have made me reflect on myself. I'm now trying to figure out what makes me truly happy and what I want out of life. My weight just kept going up and up. I made a few simple changes in my life and lost 35 pounds. I would like to lose another 25 pounds, but I'm not set on any one number, I just want to get to a place where I'm healthy and able to do the things I want to do. I like to hike, camp, and enjoy other outdoor activities that ...
I've recently had a lot of big changes in my life that have made me reflect on myself. I'm now trying to figure out what makes me truly happy and what I want out of life. My weight just kept going up and up. I made a few simple changes in my life and lost 35 pounds. I would like to lose another 25 pounds, but I'm not set on any one number, I just want to get to a place where I'm healthy and able to do the things I want to do. I like to hike, camp, and enjoy other outdoor activities that can be difficult when you're overweight. I danced ballet for 13 years but stopped when I went to college and that's when started to put on the weight. Ballet is something that I'm really passionate about and have started dancing again for almost 2 years now. My goal is to try out for the Nutcracker.

Milestone rewards:
155 - Fancy Hip Scarf
150 - New Music
145 - Manicure (CND Shellac)
140 - Weekend getaway (maybe white water rafting)
135 - Shopping spree - New wardrobe!!!

For every pound I lose (starting at 164), I will put $10 away towards the shopping spree at my goal of 135!

My Program:
Counting my calories and making healthier choices (i.e. more fruits, veggies, lean protein). Increasing my activity. I hate going to the gym, but I like running outside, dancing, volleyball

Good job on the four miles earlier this week, and thanks for commenting on my blog! I am jealous you get to run trails! It's too freaking hot here and also I'm not at a fitness level where I can run trails, I don't think. Maybe I will try soon.
