recapturing my life; my passion; my personality

It's been a rollercoaster ride all these years; sometimes literally since I used to work at amusement parks. I am going to attempt to settle into middle-age.

HA! Who am I kidding I'm not settling anywhere and don't want to "act my age" for sure!

I love color! I love unique and quirky and creative and the obscure... whether it be my hair, personality, gifts or gadgets.

don't be boring

Susan Powter's has a similar story to yours. She was in her late 20's and the doctor's wanted to put her on mental medications. She gained weight, up to 265 pounds. She wrote a book called Stop the Insanity, it is old, but still out there. She was the first to make the connection between what is in our fake foods, the chemicals, and people's mental well being. This book is very enlightening, and I have seen other diet gurus who have used her original research and observations. emoticon

Hi, I just read your article and it was so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I have over 100lbs to lose and can really relate to the isolation you spoke about. I also have fibro and arthritis and the list goes on and know losing weight will help. :) emoticon
