My Goals:
1/14/14. To get back on track with eating and exercise. I want to jog again and run a 5K by end of March 2014. Then train for Falmouth Road Race which is 7.2 miles in August 2014. I want to lose the 25 lbs. that have reappeared by time my son gets married in July 2014.

My Program:
Eating right, drinking my 8-10 glasses of water each day, taking my vitamins.
I want to walk, jog or bike every day at least 30 minutes. I joined january jumpstart so will do a video every day. And logging everything in.

Personal Information:
New transplant to North Fort Myers, FL from Massachusetts.
I am Irish with a strong love of Celtic music, went to Ireland in 2008 for 25th wedding anniversary and hope to return some day. Happily married for over 30 years to my best friend and have two great kids.

favorite book = Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
favorite movies = Jaws and The Quiet Man

Saw your comment on January jump start- I have my sons wedding and have a long way to go. Exercising is something I never really did before, and although I don't count it for weight loss, it has helped tremendously to keep me on track. I joined a gym and that has been great.

That sounds awefully painful . Take care of that arm. I admire you not giving up but do things that don't hurt that arm. For instance leg extensions. It is in the sp fitness. You sit in a chair and move one leg at a time up and down slowly. Then after so many the other leg. Find something you are allowed to do by the doctor. Don't hurt your elbow anymore than it is.

stay focused on your food in the tracker and make sure you get enough water. You can do this. Just do it carefully. Pam

September Streak Starts Today

For your streak you decided " exercise at least 10 minutes every day. Last year did it for 115 days and plan to beat that starting sunday."

Welcome to the 55+ladies team and the lose 10 pounds by Christmas challenge. Love the roses. Just like a rose we can open up and blossom. You can do this. Our team is very supportive and high in participation. Enjoy and make yourself at home.
