Hey!! Atlanta!!! Do you love it?! It's funny you mention the green smoothie cleanse, because I have been really into it too! Except I haven't been able to really commit to it, I have one in the morning and sometimes the afternoon, but I think once my kids go back to school next week it will be easier for me to jump right in.
I want to get back into running, but I have to get over my small little fear first....I like dogs but I am afraid of loose dogs in my neighborhood.
I am currently doing Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 workout , I am hoping that by the end of it I will either start P90X or Something New...

Hi ... thanks for checking in. I think you are doing great, and it is good that you are maintaining and continuing to tone. Remember you mentioned that your eating wasn't on point so look into getting that together.
Regarding what and how you are eating, your body may be changing and you may need to experiment and find what will work for you now. An example of that is me. I have to cut my carbs in order to lose weight. In the past, I know I could never indulge in high carb foods and expect to lose, however, I now find that I absolutely have to stay within 20 - 75 carbs (cycling) in order to lose. When I reach my goal weight I will be able to increase my carbs on certain days, but I will always have to be mindful. I also have added HIIT/Tabata workouts to my rotation, I am trying to do at least 2 sessions a week. I have also noticed that since I have lowered my carbs I have lost a lot of weight in my abs. If I can increase my ab/core work, I will have great definition in them before the year is out. That's what cutting down sugar (all carbs break down into sugar) does for you. But I am sure you already know this.
I think that if you analyze how you have been eating you may find out why you have not been able to lose.
.. here's hoping you find a solution soon!... Keep up the work... and on completing P90X3
How are you doing??? I've been Sparking here and there, but am trying to get back. I've been good. I, too, started carb cycling in February and then low carb a few weeks ago. I've lost 16 lbs., but my goal was 20 lbs. by Easter. I am trying to lose a total of 40 lbs. by 4th of July. I feel way better. It feels a lot like Paleo to me, so it's fairly easy. Still hitting the treadmill every day 4-6 miles and starting to incorporate weight bearing exercises 3-4 times a week. Randy and I are empty nesters now. Nick is still in college. My dad passed away last year. My mom is still in a nursing facility, but doing well. MS has taken a toll on her sweet soul. God love her.
Hope all is good with you. Nice to see you back. The tulips are beautiful on your SparkPage!! I wish the weather would make up its mind! Spring would be nice for a straight week and maybe a month at a time, right? Talk to you soon. Good luck!!! 789 days ago
