Time for a change.

Time to change this intro and time to start focusing harder on myself and my health issues rather than everyone else's. They'll need to start taking care of themselves if they can't follow my lead!! I do need to also focus more on the fruits and vegetables which I miss way too often. Also time for some new pictures :-)

Hi Kerry, Your grandson has been through a lot. A broken rib from CPR at birth? Poor baby but he made it. I know my asthma/COPD developed because of my being a 7 month baby. As you know, the lungs are the last to fully develop.

Hope he stays with the guitar now. I don't think he'll regret it if he does stay with it.

Hi Kerry, Thanks you for your beautiful, encouraging comment on my blog. Music is my passion. Without it I wold go into depression like I did before when I couldn't play the alto until I got the soprano and now play the alto as well. I have since donated the soprano to the high school a year ago as the alto really is my baby. I had the honor of hearing one of our boys from church play my soprano as special music. He loves it and it is being well taken care of, for which I am very grateful. I had it all done over before I donated it so they wouldn't have to spend money they didn't have to have it be played. emoticon emoticon

Thanks for your insightful comments on my blog. Believe me, I realize that WLS is no magic potion for weight loss, only a tool. It is hard work every single day of your life to lose weight and keep it off, and I admire anybody who is battling this fight with me. We're all in this together, no matter how we got here!

Good morning Kerry, Thanks for reading and sharing on my blog. Singing is a talent you can do anywhere, and yes, I know what you mean by singing in your head. So many times I can't get a particular song out of my head. I know at Christmas when our choir was practicing "Mary Did You Know", that was in my head constantly because it is so beautiful. Don't ever stop singing.

I get so upset that music and art are the first programs to be cut from schools. They are both so important to help develop talent and teach discipline to stay with something you enjoy. It's too bad that the powers that be on school boards don't realize this or just don't care. It's always about money. But never would they dream of cutting sports..especially football. I like football so I don't want to see that cut either. I don't know what the answer is. emoticon
