Time for a change.

Time to change this intro and time to start focusing harder on myself and my health issues rather than everyone else's. They'll need to start taking care of themselves if they can't follow my lead!! I do need to also focus more on the fruits and vegetables which I miss way too often. Also time for some new pictures :-)

My Goals:
Lose 55 lbs and get back to my WW goal work off the excess bagage on my legs to help my artificial knees and failing hips and back last longer.

Trying to eat less junk, less fast food and more veggies and fruits.

I enjoy reading, used to do some knitting but haven't picked it up for a while. Bowled a lot before messing up the knee-now watch and try to coach my grandchildren. Enjoy water aerobics

Thanks for the comment to my blog on goals. I'm now going to learn how to do them on a daily basis because sometimes I have more, sometimes less, and sometimes, they just change.

I walk (or I'm learning to walk) for 10-minutes prior to meals everyday because of the BSLs. If I walk before a meal, the meal will bring my BSL back up where they belong instead of having to practically run to get them back down where they belong after the meal. (Got that little highlight from a counselor on Diabetes.)

Anyway, it seemed like such a simple little thing I wondered why I had never through of it on my own, guess I was too close to it.

Thanks for you comment on the piano. They bought it at a speciality shop that refurbishes old pianos. They fell in love with this one and got a very good deal.

Dh can't even go into our bathroom right now---too small for the walker and toilet too close to tub---so he is using portable potty and have it in living room---but I am planning on getting him up walking very shortly---just got home from basketball game---my mom was watching him for me and I did not want him up too much when I was not home.
