My journey to a healthier and happier me

I began this journey April 2010 at my highest weight ever: 165 lbs, not good on my small 5'1" frame. I was out of shape and unhappy. I hated even looking in a mirror when I was dressed. Then I found Spark. And I found a healthy lifestyle. Over the course of the next 4 1/2 months I lost 30 lbs. I maintained for over a year, then we moved home to St. Louis, and I was unable to find a teaching job, though I really enjoyed my "new" job as stay-at-home mom/housewife. Then I found Spark. And I found a healthy lifestyle. Over the course of the next 4 1/2 months I lost 30 lbs. I maintained for over a year, then we moved home to St. Louis, and I was unable to find a teaching job, though I really enjoyed my "new" job as stay-at-home mom/housewife. Slight problem, I was way less active than I was previously and since I was home I was much more tempted to eat. I got back on Spark and lost 10 lbs and over the last two years I have yo-yo'ed up and down until I've gained back 25 of the 30 I lost. It's time to start fresh and get healthy again!

I'm a 37 year old momma to one 8 yr old boy; wife to a veterinarian.

1) Do at least 10 min of exercise each day.

3) Be a good healthy role model for my son

My Program:
Quitting soda again, I stayed off of it for a year then once I went back I was quickly addicted all over again. I already know my solution water bottle with me all the time.

Personal Information:
Classroom assistant teaching technology, seeking a classroom teaching position again for next year.

Other Information:
Love to read, write, play online, snuggle with my son, read to him. Too many fave books to mention, fave tv shows: RuPaul's Drag Race, Simpsons, M*A*S*H
