I shall put myself in the centre, and do as much for me as I would for other people. That means treating myself properly, in my food and drink choices, and making the time to exercise.
I have to change my mindset, and stop the all or nothing, be gentle with myself, and also firm. There are times for tough love too! Like just going to the gym to meet up with my friend, even when I'm wiped out after a day's work. The water aerobics does energise me.
I have finally managed to find what seems at the moment to be working for me, and that is what matters. I'll keep doing it, and trust I shall continue in the Right Direction.
I have "met" so many wonderful people here on SP, that it gives quite a lot of meaning to this journey!
Be wiser so that I become healthier, and wealthier would be great too.
I am following an adapted 5:2 regime, low calorie twice a week, no alcohol during the week, and being sensible at the weekend.
I have joined a gym, and am doing water aerobics 3 to 4 (or sometiems even 5) times a week. It seems like a lot, but I love it, and the effect it is having on my general wellbeing.
And Sophrology is helping me focus.
