Thank you Kelly for stopping by my blog and for your encouraging words.
I hope I can swim in the ocean someday like you did and will do for that tropical swim you did last year and will do this year. I don't know if I told you but I was so happy to hear your description of what you saw in the water...a turtle, right? I hope you see good stuff this year too.
Best of luck. I hope 2014 is the best year ever. 990 days ago
Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. Yeah, I thought that pic was cute too. All the while thinking about how my dogs would eat the cat. LOL... not really, but they wouldn't curl up like that either. The closest pic I have is a dog using the cat for a pillow.
There's nothing wrong with escaping to the bathroom. I used to do that all the time. Every so often you need a change of scenery from your computer screen and the crap strewn all over your desk. That's one reason why I can't work in an office without a window. At least if I can't leave the desk, I can stare out the window for a few minutes. 1050 days ago
Hey Kelly, I saw your question on the swimming forums. Have you looked around the "reports" tab? It's part of the drop down menu. I haven't searched through all of the options, but i feel like if it exists, it should be there?
The daily nutrition report shows everything on one page except for your fitness. does that help? 1186 days ago
Thanks for the idea, but I can't even lift my arm without crying out, so no way I could use a kickboard yet. It is getting better, so once I can lift my arm, I might try that, so I don't feel so bad that my boyfriend isn't swimming because of me before my arm is totally healed. 1189 days ago
Thanks for the blog comment! I bet there's huge differences between Brown and the Y. But I'll take quiet over loud chattiness any day. Your comment reminded me of one I forgot... people who don't lock their lockers. If they don't mind getting their stuff stolen, that's fine with me. But it's always a little disturbing to open a locker with no lock on it and find someone else's personal and private belongings staring at me. I learned my lesson a number of years ago when I left a pair of boots out and they got stolen. I was pissed, but it was really my own fault. I now carry two combination locks in my bag. Why two? That's funny. Someone left a perfectly good lock, with the combination sticker still on the back, on the bench in the locker room. When it was still there after my workout, I took it.
Why did she leave them on the bench by your locker? Who knows... maybe she was just forgetful. 1201 days ago
