I've been off and on Spark People since 2009. I got back on in Aug 2012 and finally reached my goal weight on November 25, 2012.

Now is the hard part for me, staying active and continuing to eat healthy. It would be so easy for me slip back into my couch potato, snacking habits!

I want to continue to work on stayinge strong and healthy, not skinny. I watch my mom suffer with many health problems and no muscle tone to help her get through a day. I want to avoid that in ...

Thanks, Kellie, for commenting on my blog "Feeling Fresh". I am not very good at doing my turns either, but I keep trying. Our trip out to Sturgis with all of its hairpin turns gave me plenty of practice. Our next trip down the bottom half of the Mississippi should be much easier.

Several things: 1 - Glad your dad is doing okay. This scare will make you appreciate and love him that much more. Treasure your moments with him.
2 - Just I to thank you for the posts you make daily on the 1 Day Challenge Page. Because of one you posted last week, I've been doing these foot exercises, and am already feeling the improvement. I'm grateful to you for that!
3 - And I just find you to always be so upbeat and encouraging, and I have found that to be very uplifting as well. I just read the one staus feed where yo put a quote about the way we make our own emotional "weather" each day. That was a lovely way of saying something that I really needed to hear!
