I'm Not Getting Older, I'm Getting Better!

After 6 months of healthy living with the help of Sparkpeople I fell off the wagon. I don't think I exercised once during the summer! Well, I have finally come to my senses and am ready to begin again. During my hiatus I gained 10 pounds and a few inches. I am both disappointed in myself and proud of myself. Disappointed because I stopped tracking and exercizing for no apparent reason - no extra stress, no tramatic event - no reason! For Bob's sake, I was on summer break from school!!! ...

Disappointed because I stopped tracking and exercizing for no apparent reason - no extra stress, no tramatic event - no reason! For Bob's sake, I was on summer break from school!!! Proud because I am not waiting any longer and only have a 10 pound setback. In another point in my life I would have reagined everything I lost and then some before I took up the cause again. I could kick myself the most for losing all of the progress I had made in the area of fitness - and I guess I will - kick myself into high gear, that is.

Okay, off I go again to fight the good fight!

My Goals:
I am starting over and my goals are to eat healthily and to track my food daily.
I will go back to what was working before - cardio 3 times a week, strength twice. During the weekends I'll be out and about getting exercise wherever I choose - walking, swimming, biking,etc.

My Program:
I use the nutrition tracker religiously! It keeps me on track and honest! I don't know what I would do withourt it!

I also use the fitness tracker daily to insure that I get enough exercise.

Personal Information:
I have a loving man, 2 wonderful grown kids ( that's my beauty of a daughter on my friends list!), a completely adorable puppy and a job that feeds my soul. I love to boat and camp and am looking forward to adding hiking and biking to those activities. The hubs and I also love to travel.
