Call me a professional dieter- I have been at this too long and it has to end. Progress has been made, but I want to cross this off my "to do list" and get on with my life. I have lost 30 pounds and am looking forward to losing the last 25 and joining the other successful Spark People.

My Goals:
I attained a BIG one recently- getting to go off Metformin! One more med to go!
I want to continue to reach for life and experiences and stop saying, "I can't"


My Program:
A new vegetarian life-style has me appreciating fresh, wholesome foods. Challenging myself physically by running ( who, ME?!?) and adding resistance/weights to the mix.
Being HONEST about what goes into my mouth. Just because I did not write it down does not mean it did not "count"

Personal Information:
Happily married to a great guy who inspires me and motivates me to live a full and healthy life. Two sons that are my pride and joy.
I love to read- magazines, historical fiction, self-improvement books and more. I love movies, pop culture, music and some tv.

Exciting that your book is on the way. You can order the spray and other bits and pieces from Leslie's website.
Lucky you going into spring and doing the Cura. Two of my favorite Cura foods are in season when you will be doing your first round, strawberries
emoticon and asparagus! Asparagus from the US is available in shops here at the moment but it doesn't travel so well... Let me know what you think of the book when you get It.

Hey there, check out this website http://curaromana.com/ i think you can order the spray from there. You can buy the book Leslie Kenton's Cuta Romana from Amazon or the Book Depository, it also has where to order the spray from. I don't think you can pick it up from many places. While you are waiting for the book to arrive look at your calendar and set out 24 days where you won't be eating out, or will eat out only a few times, then read the book twice, then, away you go. Let me know if you'd like a buddy, it's good to have a support person who knows what it's like.

Hi Kathy, you said "I have found that when I DO let up, the scale creeps back up, so I guess I will always been on the journey." I've found the same thing. I strength train six days a week - day 1 and 4 are lower body, day 2 and 5 are upper body, and day 3 and 6 are core. On the seventh day I do an extra long (nearly two hour) cardio. My body responds well to this and if I skip the routine for more than a week it starts rebelling. Even though we are each "an experiment of one", it seems that our bodies respond in a similar fashion.
Keep following your journey and listening to your body.
As Spock says "live long and prosper".
