December 09...New hair....last step in my transformation process :)
November 2009 - finally in the 120's!
August 2009 - broke into the 130's for the 1st time in 11 years!
I am a 34 yr old mother of 2 sons and wife of 13 years. I lead a very busy life that is split between raising my children, working, being a supportive firefighter's wife, serving my church home, and connecting with friends and family.
I enjoy reading, photography, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.
Weight Loss Journey:
With the birth of my youngest child in summer 05, I was getting really close to the 200 lb mark. Lost 40lbs quickly after he was born and then got to 145 lbs for my sister's wedding in October 2006. Hovered between 145-150 for the next 2 1/2 years. I'm 5'2, so I'm considered petite, but I'm very curvy.
Began SP in January 2009 to lose the last 10-15 lbs. and put me at my "ideal weight of 130-135. Now that I have experienced first hand success with Spark People, my goals are higher, but well within reach. I struggle most with staying motivated , feeling guilty about poor eating choices, and letting my sweet tooth get the best of me.
I work out 3-4 times a week, and have gotten serious about my calorie intake each day. I want to acheive my personal weight loss goals and maintain it for the remainder of my life. Now that I KNOW it's possible for me to break through the plateau I've hit time and time again, I'm not only a believer in Spark People.....I'm a LIFER!
To tone and strengthen. Maintain weight in the 120's and tone lower body and abs. Strengthen upper body. Stay motivated and be a motivation for others.
Cardio 3 x's week
HIT 2 x's week
Strength training 2-3 x's week
8 glasses of water a day
