I've been with SP since Sept 2012 and am so grateful for this site and all the support. I'm 6.6 pounds away from my goal now, and the losses are getting smaller - but that's okay. Progress in the right direction and I'll keep plugging along. Switched my running to 5k traning and getting more miles in on my bike - as I have two week-long rides coming up this summer! Exercise hasn't been my issue, but eating within my calorie range remains my goal each day!

My Goals:
Lose the last 6.6 pounds by July 4th. Cool that I will really have an Independence Day extra celebration! Continue training on my bike, and continue my goal of being a faster runner!


My Program:
Eat healthy and stay within SP nutrition guidelines - including total calories, fat, protein, and carbs. Exercise and burn at least 5000 calories a week. By doing these things, I will hit my goal of losing a total of 32 pounds by July 4, 2013! (While I know it is hard to hit nutrition goals 100% of the time, sometimes I'm under or over - but I will hit them 13 out of every 14 days!



Personal Information:
My name Kathy, and I live in Kansas most of the time. We go to Arizona in January thru the end of March.


Other Information:
My plans to reach my goal weight of 142 by July 6th. My biggest reason/set-back is because of the snack and drink temptatations when we are around friends/family. Summertime is worse, as we have guests during half the weekends. I feel like I am missing out when everyone else can have an alcholic beverage (or two) and snack on chips, crackers, cheese, etc.

This time I am going to really focus and center and plan exactly what I can have when we have guests, and I am going to do this the morning before our events. I am going to plan on staying within my calorie range each day - with the correct amount of proteins/carbs/fat and plan ahead what "treats" I can have that day and still stay within my guidelines. And, I will remind myself that I am the one really winning in the end - as I will have no regrets!

The numbers:

Goal to eat 1740-2090 calories per day

Goal to burn 5000 calories per week

Goal to go from 148.6 to 142 by 07/06/2013

    Thanks again for your answers on the fuel for running thread on the Master's Team. Wanted to ask this, too: Do you count the fuel into your daily mix of calories? I think that might be a stupid question. But does it all even out somehow? Thanks again! Hope your week is going great ;-).
