Gone to the dogs

I want to be able to get fit & healthy; to lose another 25 pounds, to live a healthy lifestyle so as to not have to take daily medications. Right now, I take one medication daily, with another only as needed. Quite honestly, these two are more than enough for me!
I am on a quest, to prove to others, that just because you are over 50 that you cannot be fit and healthy!

1) Keep a positive attitude
2) Healthy eating
3) Drink 12-15 cups water daily
4) Daily walks/runs with dogs
5) Strength training




Personal Information:
I am from Southern Oregon. I am originally from Redwood City, CA in the Bay Area.
I am in the Oregon Air National Guard, in Klamath Falls, OR.
I want to learn to snowshoe and cross-country ski.

Other Information:
I am a dog handler and dog trainer. I love to help people in learning how to train their dogs. I give my knowledge freely in this. I love to help people! I am involved in Search & Rescue, a completely volunteer effort. I get such an amazingly great feeling by this, whenever we go out on search missions.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Good to see you on here again. My summer has been crazy busy so not on here much. Now we are getting ready to start a 3 week vacation next week so will be Oct. before I am on here much. Hope all is well with you & your pups!

Guess I should explain why the tomato (goodie). We have tons of them in our garden along with squash, peppers, corn, eggplant, carrots, onions, beans and more! Just wanted to share. ;-)

Claudia - Congratulations on your wonderful loss this week! It just goes to show that you were building and adding more muscle weight when you were struggling. Which is not a bad thing as the muscle burns calories faster.
