My Goals:
I would like to:
Handle stress better.
Reduce my high blood pressure.
Feel better..feel great, in my skin again.
Stop negative self talk.
Get a handle on my depression.

My Program:
I've been making sure I eat protein at every meal. I drink 8 plus cups of water each day, 2 fruits and big helpings of veggies at lunch and dinner. No carbs beyond veggie carbs after lunch. One moderately proportioned cheat breakfast on the weekends. An occassional cheat if actually at a movie, special occasion, etc.
I'm working on reading more on health, nutrition, stress, etc.
I've yet to make the true fitness connection though I know it's needed. I have been working on being aware of movement in my life...or the lack of it.

Personal Information:
I'm a mother to one daughter that since 2009 is waiting for me in Heaven, I have one son with Pierre Robin and gastrointestinal issues that have him needing a g tube and medication, a son with Autism and a teenage son. My husban and I have had a rough time these past years but are grateful for our children and the daughter we didn't get to know long enough.
I don't want to place blame on them for my incredibly fast weight gain but I did not manage my depression or major stresses well at all. In fairness, I didn't even realize what was going on inside or outside myself. Something has finally clicked. I'm looking in the mirror finally.

Other Information:
I am an avid reader....must monitor my book budget!

I've felt like a nurse for sometime in my home and am going back to school to make it official. I start classes February 18, 2014.

I finally admitted I needed help and started antidepressants in January of 2013.

For any true hardships in my life, I truly do have a positive outlook.

I love my family and our home in Utah, though I miss our families that live mainly on the east coast.
