I'm a photojournalist who works from my cluttered computer desk. I enjoy making homemade greeting cards, spending fun times with my grandgals and making people laugh:)

Through the biblically-inspired First Place program and the incredible tools and friends here at Sparkpeople, I reached my goal weight on July 27, 2012.

Several things got me off-track recently. When my weight hit a number I hadn't seen in several years, I knew it was time to address my gluttony and laziness (well, let's call it what it is)! Back to logging my fitness and food (whether good or bad). Check my trackers if you want, and comments are welcome.

Fitness Minutes: 26,128

My Goals:
Get my weight back to 140 or less.

Firm up.

Be more active and energetic.

Get off most of my prescription meds.

My Program:
Food: Eat a healthy balance of the major food groups, averaging 1400 daily calories.

Exercise: At least 150 minutes of cardio a week, including a walk or bike ride most days. Strength-train two to three times a week.

Overall: Seek a life balanced physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

A Christian by new birth, and a Baptist by choice.

A voracious reader and a night owl, which makes early-morning tasks hard.
