Yeah, I was surprised at how bad my reaction was....guess I know what my allergy meds used to hide from me! I think an occasional tiny bit on a salad won't kill me, but I'm not going to be able to eat a plate of cheese for dinner anymore--which is fine. Probably wasn't the healthiest practice anyway ;) Pizza may be tricky, but my vegan friend swears by the Daiya brand cheese (it's tapioca based, so soy free too!). And cheesecake can be approximated using cashew cheese.

I wasn't a huge peanut butter person before...I mean I kept some in the apartment, but I haven't eaten peanut butter in 6 months or so even before the Whole30.

Anyway, hope your other food tests go well!
