New mom looking for a fresh start..

My title says it all basically. My son was born Feb. 10th, 2011 and I never thought my weight would get as high as it did. My body looks a way that I never would have imagined.. I've been avoiding having my picture taken with him because I don't want to see myself look so big, so different from what I think I look like.

I've been over 200lbs for most of my 20's, but it doesn't have to stay this way. My 27th birthday is about 2 months away and I set a pretty hefty goal for myself ...

Update: Since joining SP and writing this intro I GAINED about 40lbs taking my weight higher than it was the day I delivered my son. Nothing like surpassing your full-term prego weight 6 months later.. By my 27th birthday my weight was the highest ever-314! Then I got serious! I have been a member of SP since April of 2011, but didn't really stick to it until after the summer of 2011. Seeing pictures of myself that big blew me away.. In about a month I will be celebrating my 2 year anniversary with SP and I am proud to report that I lost all the baby weight, wearing pre-baby jeans and almost at the same weight I was on my wedding day!!

Way to go on lifting! Make sure you're even sorer next time! Unless it just hasn't hit you yet- I'm always sorer the second day after. Ouch!

Running on Thursday is going to be tough- im still really sore all over from Monday! But I need to get it done because this weekend is all about Milwaukee! Going to a Bucks game on Saturday and a Brewers game on Sunday! Ohhh yeah!
