Hi! I joined SPARK in January 2010. Since then I have had on and off success with tracking and working out. Currently I am doing my tracking on myapex.com and using a Body Bugg and this is working well for me.

I am using a personal trainer twice a week and making some good progress with muscle gain and weight loss and toning. I am really seeing a difference in my body. I have been trying to work out 6 days a week, and being fairly consistent with this.

My goals are to run a 10K in under 70 minutes, repeat the HM I did last year and improve my time on that race, and climb a couple of 14ners this summer!

My Goals:
Complete first half marathon on 8/13/2011 in 3 hours. DONE 2:48:07 official finish time.

Next race: 5K on Labor Day Goal time under 35 minutes

Cut back on sweets.


Eat Healthy 80% of the time. 80/20 rule. Nobody can be perfect all the time!




My Program:
Do something everyday - even on days I work a 12 hour shift!

Strength training 2-3 times a week. I love the muscles I am beginning to see! Cardio 2-3 times a week.

Start each morning with a water bottle full of water - drink it upon rising.

Personal Information:
Married to a wonderful man who is my best friend. Four incredible children that are turning into wonderful adults that I really enjoy being around.

Other Information:
I climbed a mountain summer 2010 and discovered I enjoy hiking. I need to spend more time finding myself and what I like. I need to know who I am.

Julie, Gosh, I've been on SP for a long time and just today scrolled down low enough to see the spark goodies and comments! Thank you so much for the map! It's great to have other people notice that you're on your own journey and give you feedback. How rude of me to totally ignore you! But really, I wasn't ignoring! Just totally clueless emoticon

Believe me, I do understand! I love the feedback I get from my BodyMedia FIT, it gets me moving way more than I ever would without it. It's off when I'm charging it or in the water (shower or pool), but otherwise it is my constant companion. Maybe someday I'll stop using it, but not any time soon!
