And yes, muscle weighs more than fat and you need protein to feed those muscles. Muscles are your metabolism, and they burn lots of calories even at rest, like a furnace. Good for you for hitting the free weights!!

You and I seem to have the same struggle - we both love to work out, but we both love to eat too! Ug! I guess that just means we like Life's sensual pleasures. Oh well, we're doing the right thing and are working on it and participating here!
