Making Progress!

I'm a busy wife, mom and busy grandma. I'm even busier with the birth of twins on March 30, 2014! I want to keep up with my sweet husband, children, and all the grandchildren as they grow up. I was widowed on July 10, 2006 to Alan, the most wonderful man. Then I met another most wonderful man, Reese, who was also widowed, and we were married June 23, 2012. Life is sweet! Life is an adventure!

My Goals:
I will reach a healthy weight by Fall of 2014 and then I will maintain. I will be consistent in my healthy eating and exercise habits.

My Program:
I am a vegetarian, and I include dairy and eggs in my diet. I try to eat whole grains and foods that are not very processed. My husband and I go to the gym 4 days per week and follow a plan for strength training that our personal training set up for us. We also walk/run on the treadmill or the track. On my own I ride my bike and swim. My husband and I enjoy riding our bikes together, and with the family, and exploring trails in the mountains together.

Personal Information:
I moved from Northern Nevada to Utah when I married Reese, my current husband. Family and my religious faith are important to me.

Other Information:
I have struggled with my weight my entire life. When my late husband died I lost 70 pounds that year, but I'm up from that lowest weight. I felt good at that previous weight, but time will tell where my best and healthiest weight is.

Judy, thank you so much for reading my blog! I loved your comment! You expressed very well (and much more concisely than I did) exactly what I was trying to say! Have a great Sunday. It's almost over for me, and I'm so happy that everything is now peaceful outside over here in Japan. Hope all is quiet in Utah as well.

It was so sweet of you to send me a new wardrobe! Perfect! You're right--I'm going to fit into those clothes in my closet, one day at a time, and I can't wait to see a photo of you in those fabulous jeans! Have a great evening and a great day tomorrow!

How exciting! TWINS! of course you're not up to doing one other thing! I'm very happy for you and your family.

Thank you for responding to my email. I just was trying to figure out if folks wanted me to keep going. Seems most do.

Take good care of yourself - get lots of rest when you can - and just enjoy. I'm sure that's just exactly what you're doing.

Again, Congratulations and Thank you. Rosalie
