My focus today is on health and wellness, family, friends and spiritual growth. I've chosen to have my page reflect my life today; pictures from 10-16 years ago are quite different and are scattered through my gallery. Life is good!

Interests: I enjoy home yoga practice, but my main activity is still with my walking with my dog "Sugar"! She's from a rescue and has flourished since I adopted her. She's worth her weight in gold because she makes me laugh! She's also a great motivator to get out for a one to three mile walk every day. She has been a real gift to me and my health.
October 2010, we adopted Xena as a kitten; she's livened up our household considerably and keeps tabs on my indoor "spark" walks! By 2011 walking has become a primary fitness activity for me; as I entered 2012 hooping had become a close second. 2013 has been a year of major yard changes and gardening activity! 2014 a lot of energy was put into fixing up my house and adding more gardens. Alas, 2015 did bring some health issues that slowed me down a bit; but have not stopped me! I have given up yoga classes but continue to practice at home where I can pace myself.
Time with my family and friends and indoor "walk -n- talks" on the phone are my other primary activities. Maintaining my home and yard and gardening keep me busy. Yard and gardening spring through the fall sometimes takes the place of other fitness activities. Reading, sewing and crafts when I have time; keeping busy never a problem! Finding more time sometimes is.
I just keep growing and changing in healthy ways; life is good!

Hi Joy
we have a pull down loft ladder. We're keeping all doors leading off from the hall closed and the loft entrance covered while we work and we're vacuuming up as we go to keep the dust down so not TOO bad LOL

My brother and his family moved to AZ at the beginning of this year, with a railroad job. So far, they are loving it. I plan to really explore the area when we get a chance to visit him. Have you been down to see your sister when she's in AZ? Lots of amazing botanical gardens and great places to hike, I hear!

Hi Joy,
Yes our dear Queen has turned 90 and walks better than some 60 year olds I know!!!
She's an amazing woman and she had your President to dinner this week and he also stayed to see William and Kate and little George stayed up past his bedtime LOL

Amazing celebrations and she'll be going a long time yet. The Duke is 95 this year and has no sign of stopping either...........I put it down to the Royal Jelly emoticon ....must get some emoticon
