My Inspiration

Something to remember: A TRUISM: Action precedes motivation. You have to "prime the pump" and get the juice flowing, which motivates you to work on your goals. Getting momentum going is the most difficult part of the job...the first week is the hardest, but after seeing results, it keeps you going.
SO START!!! TRUST THE PROCESS!!

Thanks so much for the sweet comment on my blog. It really sucks but I couldn't stay in a bad relationship either. So sweet about you and your hubby. Congrats. :) How has your week gone? I've lost this week....it's coming along. :)

"You can do what you want to do, accomplish what you want to accomplish, attain any reasonable objective you may have in mind - not all of a sudden, perhaps not in one swift and sweeping act of achievement - but you can do it gradually, day by day and play by play, if you want to do it, if you work to do it, over a sufficiently long period of time."

My French onion soup recipe is so easy it's stupid! LOL!!
I take some onions and chop them into chunks. Usually about 4 or 5 large ones. Put them in the crock pot with 2 sticks of butter, turn on high. Then let them carmelize. It takes about 6 hours, sometimes more depending on how many onions and how juicy they are. ( I start mine in the afternoon, usually by 10p.m. they are ready)I stir them once in a while. Once browned how you like them, (for me the browner the better) add water to fill the crock pot almost full. (save room for a pint of whipping cream) Add bouillon to taste. I add about 6 cubes, three chick, 3 beef. I add 2 T granulated garlic. And cook on Low over night. In the a.m. turn it off and I stick blend it until almost pureed- little tiny chunks are good. Let cool a while, pour in pint of HWC, stir. We start lunch here around 10 a.m. , it's usually still warm to eat. (I use an 8 qt crock pot, but just adjust onions and butter if yours is smaller)
I cook by the seat of my pants so I hope that makes sense! :o)

"Whatever you want in life, start today.
Not tomorrow - today.
Let it be a small beginning - a tiny beginning.
Your happiness depends on starting today - every day."
