My Goals:
My long term weight goal is 170 lbs. (that's 120 lb loss) and ability to walk several miles at a time.
My mid-range goal is 200 lbs. and active.
My short term goal is the next 10 lbs. and walk today.
I want to lose weight because
1) I feel crippled and old and I'm not
2) I want to be healthier and in better shape to do the things I want to do
3) I like pretty clothes

Personal Information:
I like to spend my days catching up on old TV shows and movies on Netflix while working embroidery or knitting. I read cozy mysteries, science fiction, and cookbooks (sometimes all in the same book!) and listen to New Age music or NPR. Often I cook something that sounds interesting, but not so much now as I am on a diet and live mostly alone. As a gamer I spend time in virtual worlds and communities and am active in online charity events. I browse the Internet, researching whatever catches my fancy, in much the same way that as a child I sat in the hallway reading a random column of the World Book encyclopedia. I replay favorite mystery games like Myst. And I play with Molly, my sweet long-hair dachshund, who loves me even when Iím in a bad mood.

Other Information:
I'm emerging from a 6-year journey through clinical depression, over-medication, loss of family, and a bad marriage. I've made bad choices and bad things have happened to me. This colors everything in my life at present. I don't really want to dwell on it, but everyday is a struggle to make it to the next minute.

Thanks for the comment about the changing made to the teams. No, you are right, there is no HUDDLE any longer as we knew it. Just go to the main page of the team, and on the wall, post your greeting as you would normally do on the huddle. How the point system is figured for this I do not know. The main thing is to always go to the main page of the team and keep and eye on the wall. I believe that's where we will learn of blogs, etc that used to be entered automatically. Now we probably have to do it ourselves, but I'm not sure on that.

Granted, any time a change comes about, it is hard to get used to, and our first reaction is to dislike it. But we have no choice but to give it a chance. You can be sure that my members' viewpoints will be passed on to those who are in charge though, for what that is worth.
