I live to laugh. Laughter and positivity really can help you through those pain-filled days, along with Spark pals and loved ones.

I have a rare disease (Erythromelalgia) that affects my life daily, and has sent me into a funk for far too long! I joined Spark in April of 2011 and LOVE the support and resources. I will get back my healthy life, no matter what illness I live with.

JITZUROE Happy! Convinced the docs to take out my sutures days early! We joked that the procedures tray looked like it was covered in little black spiders after he was done, eeeeew! Hee Hee.

My Goals:
1. Live for each day. TRULY. You just don't know when your health will wander off to some secret place. Note to self: find out where it went!

2. Get my emotional eating off my mind and re-learn better behavior around food. Update 9/6/11: Still a day to day battle, but I have tools and Spark friends to FIGHT!

3. Cheer on anyone who needs it. I'll bust out some virtual pom poms and try to motivate you since I am getting support from Spark myself! Woo Woo!

4. Run in the rain with a healed foot - woohoo!

My Program:
I work out 5-6 days a week (currently) via low impact/no impact exercises with my EM and CRPS, and try to not push both into red line pain for me.

I stick to a healthy low refined carb, low sugar, low fat and high protein lifestyle for 6 days a week and try relax a bit on Saturdays.

Thanks for the sleep mask, sweet pea. It must have really helped. After struggling to sleep, even more than usual, for quite a while, last night I slept from 11pm to 4:40am - I was thrilled! I am glad the sutures are out. I hope the A.C. is working extra hard for you. It is hotter than L.A. here, right now - ugh! emoticon

You're welcome, Bren! And thank you for the goodie and for your comments on my photos of my dog baby... yes, it has been a very painful loss and I still miss my Missy every day. But I'm feeling better... takes time. If you'd like to see a cute video of my girl, I posted my first vlog with a video of her... I taught her to choose which flavors of food and treats she wanted, and when I would ask her which one, I'd tell her to "touch" and she would! She got really good at that!
