Ma-na-Ma-na!
I am FINALLY in a PAIR of shoes after 12 weeks in a big bertha black boot this past April. I have learned a lot about myself in this healing process. I have a rare disease (Erythromelalgia) that affects my life daily, and has sent me into a funk for far too long! I joined Spark in April and LOVE the support and resources. I will get back my healthy life, no matter what illness I live with. I'm hoping to stay active regardless, get my toosh moving, and hopefully inspire others ...

My Goals:
1. HEAL MY FOOT FRACTURES! Update 9/6: Fractures are healed! Now we need to get the tendon working again so I can point my foot. Arg! 2. Get my emotional eating off my mind and re-learn better behavior around food. Update 9/6/11: Still a day to day battle, but I have tools and Spark friends to FIGHT! 3. Cheer on anyone who needs it. I'll bust out some virtual pom poms and try to motivate you since I am getting support from Spark myself! Woo Woo! 4. Run in the rain with a healed foot - woohoo! Update 7/4/11: Working on it!
My Program:
I work out 6 days a week with free weights and (currently) low impact/no impact exercises with my EM and CRPS, and try to not push both into red line pain for me. I stick to a healthy low refined carb, low sugar, low fat and high protein lifestyle for 6 days a week and try relax a bit on Saturdays.
Other Information:
I looooove monkeys!!! Does that count as interesting???
