Grandmother of 3 and happily retired. This past year I lost and kept off half my goal. The remaining pounds are few and I can make goal and stay there this year. I really need to step up the exercise this year, in the past months I've been slacking on that and am really starting to feel it.

My Goals:
Goal is to get to my healthy weight and stay there, eat right and exercise regularly. Sounds simple and easy enough so I wonder why it's so hard for me to get there and stay there.

My Program:
Eating healthy fresh foods, tracking calories and portion control along with regular exercise - walking and core exercises.

Personal Information:
Grew up as a military brat and lived in several states and overseas growing up, moving every 3 years or so. Maybe that's why I'm finally so settled, in the Austin area of Texas for the past 24 years.

Other Information:
Love to read, go for walks and ride my bike. I started sewing again, having fun with that.

I weigh 2 pounds less than last January. Not exactly a success story when the goal then was to lose 22. Still, I didn't gain, and now I have 20 pounds even to lose. I am relieved to have gotten through the November and December holidays with no weight gain. Now it's time to kick some butt (mine).

I wanted to say hi from one ex-military brat to another. I was looking to see if a ex-military brat team existed. None so far but your SparkPage came up. Where did your family get stationed? We were in France and Germany for a total of 11 years.

BTW, I also ended up in Texas (Houston)
