MAY IS YOUR BEST MONTH EVER

Make plans for yourself to learn something.
Don't quit as that is all that matters. Stay with it no matter what!

If you are tired of starting over, then stop quitting.

To make our way, we must have firm resolve, persistence, tenacity. We must gear ourselves to work hard all the way. We can never let up.
Ralph Bunche

In "The Power of NOW" Eckhart Tolle teaches us to live for today. If we do that, all the days of the year will add up to our success.

I've been a Sparker for five years and certainly should have been at my goal by now, but.......BUT......life happened and like Roger Gould, M.D. says in "Shrink Yourself" that stress is the number one reason we REGAIN pounds. True. Very true. Had my Gallbladder out on 10-14-09 and all went well. Two stones the size of Golf Balls, which I'm sure came from all my yo-yo dieting, but I'm doing well. (I regained 27#, as I went back to eating carbs.) But I got it back off.

I'm happy for all my Sparker Friends, who have been so wonderful to me and to give Nathan encouragement.
My fifth year goal is to EXERCISE daily now that I turned 63 and in my head I'm still 30.

"We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference,
ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time,
add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee."

I decided that it's time to stop giving up and giving in to my emotional eating disorder and to beat it fighting all the way.

I decided that it's time to stop falling off the wagon.

Yes there will be bad days where I won't do any exercise at all.

But the next day I'll exercise twice as hard for the day off.

In this decision making process I'm now 4 pounds down.

I've also decided it's time for a new shrink.

Me and my old shrink had a long talk and she was the one who decided she can no longer help me not I.

I now have a new shrink and I'm on a healthy med combo that doesn't make me gain weight but helps to maintain my stability
from my schizoaffective disorder.

Young Sherry has taken hold of the reins again and she's not letting go till she achieves that bikini body! emoticon emoticon

In this decission making progess I have exercised a total of 28 minutes today on my wii fit and plan to do the same tomorrow.

I'm a pound down today and I didn't gain a pound drinking that one soda I had today! I'm so excited! emoticon emoticon
