Day by day, step by step, bite by bite to goal..
It's time in my life to scale back so, that's what I'm doing. Taking charge, Paying more attention to what I am doing to myself. 1st step scale down/back.

(all my wisdom last yr 3/08)
I've been more text/talk than action... thus the new headline & attitude.

Update 20May08. I have Released around 13 pounds since March. This evening, I've rediscovered Napoleon Hill's self help advice. Through the grace of God I am making positive changes in my life.

25Oct08 What happened to this month/yr? 2mos to Christmas/New yrs... I'd better kick it up a notch to meet mid goal. (under 200 in '08) I can do it! 25# down More to Release and Hubby is joining me on this part of the journey... (maybe leading by example is working after all... or because the Dr. told him (2 days ago) to change his lifestyle and be 100#s lighter) The challenge has kicked my program up a couple of notches....

I have been mostly text.....sp-anniversary upon me and I'm shifting the goal dates. 30#s off not the goal amnt (119). I've noted some depression over this but am determined to put it behind me and be serious about my health. Hubby hasn't joined yet ... Kids are anxious to get into the act & get Mommy moving (more).

I have a new mind set. I've released 30#s... I "only" have 89#s to release... So, my new goal feels more achievable after the disappointing 1st anniv wt.

My Goals:
Goals..first I want to be able to put on my socks and shoes under 10 minutes without flipping and flopping like a fish out of water. And breathe while doing it. where is putting on socks and shoes in the cardio section? I'm sweating when shad. Goal 2 to be able to fit thru some of my kids' playground toys, like the doll house and square slide thingie. Other than that, I'm working on being atleast 30# less by July. More would be great! Long range drop 120 by this time next yr(March 09)

Being aware of my eating. What, when, and how much. Eat smarter and workout more.

20May08, I've recently rediscovered my Napolean Hill books & tapes.
Gonna "bone up" on the guidance for a positive mental attitude, setting and achieving my goals...

21October08 Excited yet frustrated. I'm 25#s less (super yea!)but between sizes (which is the frustrating thing too tight or falling off (yea!) ) Goal: cranking up the program a few notches esp. exercise & toning. Skinny sagging isn't attractive as skinny toned.

8April2010 too close to 300. bike for birthday ride w/kids. Non smoker since 7Dec09 fighting cravings lately. Gotta get 'er done.

Personal Information:
I am a wife, Mother of 3 beautiful children. My oldest son just turned 7 and twins boy/girl just turned 5. Always thought they were my wt loss program. They keep me going alright. I want to get to a healthy weight so I can watch them grow. Teach them healthy choices.I am proud they love yogurt, blueberries, spinach, water, asparagus, twins love cottage cheese. Oldest, loves oatmeal. I feel I'm doing something right for them. They only get soda once or twice a month. We introduce new foods. They are at healthy weights, Mommy & Daddy aren't at present.

Other Information:
I love Egypt. My husband was born in Alexandria. I visited in 2000 and loved it. I love books by Elizabeth Peters about Egypt. Sharyn McCrumb is another of my favoites and The Cat Who books. I haven't read as much since the kids came along. Mostly Suess books and the like. I enjoy hiking, teaching the kids baseball, learning soccer, Family is important to me. I have family members on Sparkpeople. Helping each other out. Also my friends. I love you gals!
