The First Step
Hi, I am happily married and have a 4yr old son and an 2 yr old daughter that keep me busy everyday. I have almost everything that I have always wanted in my life, a wonderful family, a very loving and caring husband that is always there for me and has given me 2 wonderful children. Hi, I am happily married and have a 4yr old son and an 2 yr old daughter that keep me busy everyday. I have almost everything that I have always wanted in my life, a wonderful family, a very loving and caring husband that is always there for me and has given me 2 wonderful children. I am very grateful for everything and everyone in my life but there always seemed to be something missing, like I never felt happy about myself......I guess I have been overweight all my life and have tried many different diets, thinking that I could loose weight fast, but nothing never seemed to work.....But now almost 40 yrs into my life it's not that it never worked, I guess I just wasn't ready to take that first step towards a more healthier life. My Program:
At least 8 glasses of water daily Making healthier food choices At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day(working on adding more) Exercise 6 days a week for 45 - 60 min

One of the things that I like about my lifestyle journey on SparkPeople is seeing and feeling all of the changes in myself.... One of the the things I still need to improve on is having more confidence in myself, to not be afraid to try new things. But as I get closer to my goal it is getting easier and I am learning so much about myself, how strong I can really be..... I am so DONE!! hiding behind my weight, I am learning to love myself, make lots of friends and enjoy my life. I am so grateful to have found SparkPeople and all of the wonderful people on here.
