I can't believe it has been 14 months since this was updated. I lost myself when I lost my job somewhat expectantly in April. I walked around with my heart in my throat for 10 months, suffered anxiety attacks at night, and pushed through depression and self doubt...we survived financially (barely) and kept our relationship strong...A decade ago I was laid off and it brought clarity to me and was the needed kick to reflect on my life resulting in a divorce. I remarried a wonderful partner that kept saying things would work out. I tried to focus on getting in shape and worked out consistently for a few months, looked better, lost pounds and inches, but as time went by and no job prospects surfaced my fear won out. I didn't go overboard and actually kept the weight off I had lost until very recently. I think when I received a job offer I expelled a big sigh and with that allowed myself some time to regroup without stress...So I'm looking for new motivation and focus. I work close to home, near a gym, decent hours, and with freedom of dd being in track this spring...Wish me luck..I'm SOO happy to be back..hard to login with no good news last year but I plan on being engaged with you again.

Fitness Minutes: 20,266

My Goals:
Short term: Track my nutrition daily.
Drink 6-8 cups of water daily.
Write in my journal daily

Med Goals: Establish a workout routine at the beginning of each week that is flexible enough to handle changes and still allow me to accomplish.

Take a picture of myself and smile about it.

Long term:

Run at least 1 5K.

Run a 5K under 34 min.

Run 5 miles without walking and feel good about it..LOL

My Program:
Track track track.

Personal Information:
A wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, veteran, community volunteer.

Other Information:
A few other things I would like to work on in 2013
- Getting up earlier on the weekends
- Going to church more
- Going through closets, clothes, filing cabinets and purging!

    Thank you for the information concerning BARBIETEC. She was simply amazing. I was really sorry to read her sad news. But I just loved revisiting some of her blogs, especially the one where it was the week of her marriage, her cancer recurrence, and all she wanted to know from her doctors was if she could still run the 10K. She had an incredible spirit, and I pray that she is in a better place.

    Trying to stay on course while I'm down here in Virginia. My sis is giving me a tutorial on posting and finding more friends, etc. I haven't weighed myself yet but I will in the next few days. Hope everything is going okay. I saw you walked last night! Good for you.

    Kids are doing great. They both have jobs so I consider that a successful start, lol! One is in TN the other in TX. I love seeing your updates with your kids' games and such. We enjoyed the high school years so much.
