Hi, my name is Jennifer, I am 27 years old, happily married with a 2 1/2 year old son. My son has cerebral palsy, so we are faced with many challenges, but I am so blessed to have him! Hi, my name is Jennifer, I am 27 years old, happily married with a 2 1/2 year old son. My son has cerebral palsy, so we are faced with many challenges, but I am so blessed to have him! I have struggled with my weight all of my life. Being pregnant didn't help! I packed on 90 lbs during the pregnancy, putting me at my highest weight ever...316 lbs. Six months later, I still hadn't lost any weight and knew I needed to make a change. Now I weigh 174 lbs! I lost 40 lbs through diet and exercise under the supervision of a doctor. Then I got the vertical sleeve gastrectomy as tool to help control my portions and I lost 102 additional pounds totalling to a whopping 142 lbs! I feel kind of blindsided, it happened so fast! I am very happy though. I absolutely love my sleeve! I hope to find some great friends on here that can encourage and support eachother together through our journeys.

My Goals:
I want to have a lean, fit body, fit into a size 10/12 jeans, and be a better dancer!
My Program:
I have my altered stomach, a quarter of its original size. I drink primarily water and 1% milk, and always pair protein and carbs in my meals. I started running and have a goal to do a 5k.
Personal Information:
I love hustle dancing (a form of ballroom). It's the most fun exercise I do. I want to crosstrain to improve my dancing, so I work out at the gym on the equipment, I occasionally go rockclimbing, I started running. This is going to help the weight melt off and get me in the best shape of my life! It has been so beneficial to lose the weight, I have gained so much energy! This is a feeling I haven't had in ten years! It's wonderful. :-)
