Hi, everyone!! I first joined sparkpeople in 2008 and was amazingly quite successful! After 4 years, a baby, and a failed relationship i'm back. My challenges are now greater! Not only am i fighting my thyroid desease, i also have a post-pregnancy body ( so complicated), and a new problem: emotional eating! (yay!)

Hi, everyone!! I first joined sparkpeople in 2008 and was amazingly quite successful! After 4 years, a baby, and a failed relationship i'm back. My challenges are now greater! Not only am i fighting my thyroid desease, i also have a post-pregnancy body ( so complicated), and a new problem: emotional eating! (yay!)

Despite the fact that i'm seriously lacking motivation, I know i will accomplish what I have set out to do. I have a beautiful son and his mommy has to make sure she's healthy!!

I have to remind myself that despite the rebelious weekends, or weeks that i've been having...I have managed to lose a total of 30 lbs since September 2011. Not too bad for an asthmatic ex- smoker with hypotyroidsm...;)

My current goal is to reach 162 lbs. It is the weight I will try to maintain. I understand that according to bmi charts, i would still not be considered healthy, but, for my dna and body type, I know 162 will be perfect!

My Goals:
I really want to be healthy

I also want to feel great about my body!

My Program:
Food: I have three meals and two snacks every day. I mostly eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat and fish.

I've always eaten like this, i now have to eliminate the chocolate, ice cream, etc.

Portion control is my new best friend!

Exercise: working out 2 times a week with my trainer and 3, by myself!
