Even losing one ounce is an ounce in the right direction

I remember about 50 pounds ago I used to think I was SO fat....now I would LOVE to be that size again!!! However, here I am starting the journey to weight loss. I've joined SparkPeople to share and receive helpful advise and guidance to reach my weight loss goal. My husband and I are thinking about trying to have a second child, but I do NOT want to get pregnant weighing what I do now (could you imagine how hard that would be to lose even more weight?) Anyway, I'm in my last year of nursing ...

My husband and I are thinking about trying to have a second child, but I do NOT want to get pregnant weighing what I do now (could you imagine how hard that would be to lose even more weight?) Anyway, I'm in my last year of nursing school. I should be an RN this time net year (fist pump!). My husband and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary and we are the proud parents of a very very very active toddler. A busy life and a love for sleep has prevented me from working out and cooking right, or at least those are my excuses. NO MORE EXCUSES! I' focusing on small goals at a time. MY motto is even losing an ounce is an ounce in the right direction. I'm looking forward to making new friends on here. Have a great day!

Track EVERYDAY even on the bad days

Cto 5K on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Strength train on Tuesday and Thursday

I'm a Christian. I try to live according to God's word everyday.I'm not perfect, but I try. I'm a Registered Nurse...FINALLY. lol I just graduated in may so that plus my kiddo and husband keep me busy

Welcome to Spark People, JACKSONS_MOM918. We seem to have some things in common: I have a young son and my mom is a retired RN. When she was going to school, she would bring interesting 'homework' home (like cow's eyes...what is that about?!!). emoticon She and her classmates would practice giving eachother shots. I would not be able to do that.
