A busy stay at home mother of two and wife, I'm working hard to get myself back and I have the means to do so. I have my own group to manage on Facebook. So far, it seems to be keeping me more motivated than doing it on my own. I share my Spark blogs and articles, and they all seem to love the motivation... It keeps me going!

With 2012 here, I have decided that I don't need resolutions. I need to continue on my path to healthy living and eventually the rest of these inches will shed. It's time to find Me again and get my head back on straight.

I'm cutting my calories, adding my protein back in and have a goal of at least 400 calories to burn each day. If I keep this up, I should be quite the hottie come the end of June when we take the kids to Universal Studios for the first time! My husband and kids are joining me on this quest and I am grateful.

My Goals:
To not be the chubby mommy on the rides at Universal the last week of June 2012.

The doc has given me the healthy weight of 175 lbs instead of a crazy 135 lbs, so I'm slowly working toward that.

Be more active with my kids.

Be happy with myself.

Journal again.

Meditate.

Take care of myself.


My Program:
I'm watching what I eat - adding more fruits and veggies as can be afforded - and getting more active. I've begun taking the free fitness classes my community offers and trying to play racquetball with my kids as often as possible. Adding the Wii Fit and the Kinect games as often as I can, as well as heading to the community gym and heading out for walks/runs. I need to start keeping up with my SparkTeams, too...

My family always comes before me, which is something I'm slowly trying to change. It's time to put myself back into the world and make time to read, write and paint again.

    Hey there love! Oh man, so much going on! I bought a house. It's in the early stages. Still waiting for the bank's attorney to send back the final copy so I can get the inspections and start the financing. I love this house. It's so perfect! Now with this new house is a completely new start for me. I'll be leaving the boyfriend after 8 years together. And he doesn't know that I'm leaving. I mean, I think he knows, but it's nothing we've formally discussed - because anything can happen with the house, so I at least want to wait until I have the inspections and know that all is well on my end. As it stands the closing date is June 22nd, so I figure the kids and I will be moving in the week of the 4th of July probably. Ugh - so much stress! And I'm in my final week of school for the semester so I have two big finals I have to take this week. And I'm heading out of town with some girlfriends for a scrapbooking get-away on Thursday (through Sunday). Lord have mercy!! LOL!

    I hope all is well with you. We need to catch up on things for sure!!!!!!

    Hey there! I'm doing okay. Lots of emotional ups and downs with me lately, but for the most part my eating and exercise plans are going pretty well. Started back at WW about 5 weeks ago and as of the 10th I was down 5.2 pounds. It's a slow go, but it's hard when I sit for no less than 11 hours a day between my job and the 2 hour commute. :(
