Hi. Thanks for checking out my Spark Page. I'm Eileen and people call me Ei. I live in Ohio!

Isn't SparkPeople.com wonderful? I really love it and it sure is helping me in my journey. This website was recommended to me when I asked my doctor how I could lose weight. Wow! I am so glad I asked her that question!

I went to Weight Watchers for several years off and on and did lose, but then put it back on when I stopped going.
In September 2010 when I discovered Spark People and read the book, it really got me motivated to make a decision. I decided I wanted a healhier lifestyle and knew I needed to make a change. I was doing the WW Points plan-- on my own with the help of Spark People.

Spark got me going and then the new WW Points plus plan came out and I decided to change from WW points- on my own to the new plan.
In December of 2010 , I re-joined for the new WW Points Plus Program for three months. It was a early Christmas gift to myself, since I know ----I am worth it!!
Now, since early March 2011, I am doing the program on my own. I have a long way to go, but know this program will keep me on top of things.
I have a few health problems that sometimes interfere
with my exercising plans, but am striving to improve on this. I am hoping my health will actually be much better by my activity and healthier lifestyle.
One day at at time I will get there. It may take me longer than I planned, but I will not give up. My journey is moving in the right direction and I am on this with all of you. Let's help each other get there. Thanks for being here Spark People!

Good afternoon dear friend.
I Hope you had a nice holiday weekend too and had lot's of fun.

We did go to our lake for 5 days. On Monday (Labor Day) we packed up and went to our grandson's for his birthday party. He was 12 yrs old Aug. 29th. They sure grow up fast.

I read your last blog. I love it and it is so true. I keep telling myself I need to get back to going to the gym, then someone else needs my attention. I need to learn to Focus on my own healthy habits first. As you said: "This healthy journey is NOT easy". If we lived closer, we could keep each other motivated easier. I really appreciate your motivation . My computer was messed up again for over a month, since the last time Tylor stayed over the weekend with me.

Spark is a great program, but it is too easy to get caught up in the social aspect of it. For the past month I have been trying to journal my food and exercise only. ( On the days I could get my computer to work). My computer would freeze up and do nothing for hours.

Thanks for the note.
Thanks for the Love
Thanks for the motivation
Thanks for the support
Thanks for being my friend

Have a LOVELY Spark day and stay well.
God Bless you

Hi Ei, Thanks for the encouraging words, they were most welcome. I had a good day, my husband and I went fishing on the Columbia River with friends and we brought home a salmon. It was about12 lbs or so which compared to what everyone else is reeling in was a pretty small one, but it is excellent table fare nonetheless. Any fish caught is a good one right? It was chrome bright, a very pretty fish.
