Life is too short to put it off.

I want to be hooked on cardio. I want to be strong. I want to be able to use my body in all of the ways for which it was intended, because it''s an awfully big world and we all have so very little time. I want to show my daughter by example that our bodies are made to move. I would love for fitness to show on the outside, but this isn''t primarily about weight loss. This isn''t a diet for me. There is no finish line.

My Program:
8 miles a week: biking, running, hiking.

Cardio 3 or more times a week

Mindful food choices





Personal Information:
I live in a tiny space, 600 sq ft, with my partner, two dogs, a snake, and up to three children in varying configurations. We live on 2 and a half acres of woods, 10 minutes from the heart of the city, and I feel so very blessed.

I crochet, he paints, we grow things. We try to be mindful of our impact on the world around us, and simplify things when possible.

Next up: several little house projects, followed by a kitchen remodel, maybe adding animals to the farmette this summer.

I totally agree Coree. One you get the momentum going it is so much easier to keep it going. In fact , for myself, I don't feel good about myself if I skip the exercise during those times when I have the momentum.

Here is to our continued movement towards our goals.

Just dropping by to say hello! I'm a Firecracker for the Fall 5% Challenge. Tomorrow is our weigh-in day for week #1. The challenge may be a race for minutes, but losing that 5% is really why we're in it.
