I CAN DO IT...... for LIFE!
My name is Jenifer and I have struggled for 6 years to drop some weight I held onto after having my 2 children. My BMI was in the "overweight" range. I love to exercise, and I do a lot of it. But even it wasn't doing the trick. I considered tracking my food with great reluctance. In April (2012) I had crept back up to 160 lbs. so I decided to do something different. My name is Jenifer and I have struggled for 6 years to drop some weight I held onto after having my 2 children. My BMI was in the "overweight" range. I love to exercise, and I do a lot of it. But even it wasn't doing the trick. I considered tracking my food with great reluctance. In April (2012) I had crept back up to 160 lbs. so I decided to do something different. I added a strength training program to my cardio and joined Spark People. My plan is working so far! It's very encouraging to have an effective strategy. My goals included getting back into the healthy range for my BMI, and to get into the 140's. I accomplished my goal! Now I have decided to continue toning up, get my weight into the 130's, and maintain this energy and healthy lifestyle!
