I've always been the "fat friend" and the one picked on for my weight, even when I wasn't that much bigger than everyone else. Around the age of 14 I started putting on a lot of weight. I'm an emotional eater and was going through a rough time, so I ate my way through it. Around 17 years old, I had knee surgery and used it as an excuse not to get any exercise, ate and gained more weight. By the time I graduated high school I weighed about 210 pounds.

I joined Weight Watchers with my mom right after graduation and lost about 20 pounds by the time I entered college that August. By Thanksgiving I had lost another 15-20.

I joined Sparkpeople with the hope that the freshmen 15, which I got as a Junior in 2006/2007, would be lost. I was successful in doing that, but ended up gaining the weight back when dating my ex in early 2009. My goal is to lose that weight, plus 10 more for my friends wedding in June 2010.

One of my lifetime goals is to travel the world. As of right now, I've visited 6% of the countries, mainly in Europe. My favorite right now is Norway. I would go back in a heartbeat. Ireland, England and Australia hopefuly next.

My overall goal to is to be fit, at a more healthy weight, and to be able to maintain that.

Thanks for stopping by! I am feeling less stressed, but still behind at work despite working pretty hard M-W. Beer is not the temptation for me -- it's crackers and the temptation to grab a quick, fatty dinner like pizza or Chinese food. But I will keep on keeping on!!
