The Best is Yet To Be ...

Hi.

My name is Pat. I joined Spark People because I was gaining back some weight I had lost and knew I wasn't doing something right. Right now, I actually don't know if I'm losing weight as I don't have a scale. But I am losing inches, so this is good, and I feel great. The bonus I'm receiving from SP is the education about food, diet, exercise, and overall health. The support and positive feedback in the messages and blogs is incredible.

The bonus I'm receiving from SP is the education about food, diet, exercise, and overall health. The support and positive feedback in the messages and blogs is incredible.

As I accomplish each goal that I set for myself in SP, I feel stronger and healthier. The step-by-step, little-change-at-a-time strategies are carrying over into other areas of my life, as well. That is why I title my page "The Best is Yet To Be."

I'm an avid walker these days, have been a hiker for years, am gaga about reading, and love music, movies, and gardening. Just recently, thanks to SP, I believe I can walk a 5K (to start) and am looking forward to some races. There are other things I have been thinking about doing for years and now I have this inner knowing that I will be doing them soon.

Remember--the scale is only one of the tools you have and it can't be your only barometer. Stay on track, exercise, get the water in, read a great book, and you will get your results when your body is ready. emoticon
