Run like a Honey Badger

I'm edging closer to 40 so who knows, maybe I'm going through a midlife crisis. I've spent the past 10 years of my life caring for 3 kids, one with significant challenges, and a husband. My heart has stopped twice due to a genetic heart condition and I've decided enough! Its me time.

Its not just about getting rid of the weight but don't judge me if I want to be able to get out some and manage to look HOT in a little black dress ;)

My Goals:
1. Run a 5k 3min run 2 minute walking intervals.
2. Run a 5k all the way through no walking.
3. Get down to a size 8, then to a 6 so I can steal clothes out of my teenagers closet :-0

My Program:
Minimum 45 minutes of running and walking at least 3x per week.

Strength training at least 2x per week.

Tracking my food and keeping a steady, healthy diet with plenty of nutrients to fuel me but low enough in calories to turn me into a skinny cow.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read/answer my blog! As for how many weeks, we go from this coming week through May (with time off for holidays and spring break)
You have some great ideas. I too was thinking of having some cooking days as well. We have a full kitchen we that we can use (as long as the science/history/home ec teachers aren't using it - but us teachers always talk with each other about when we each need the kitchen) Last year I did a juicing class one day - the students enjoyed that!
