This Can't Really Be That Difficult!

Or maybe it can.

Why do I have such a hard time with losing weight? What's so difficult about making healthier food choices? Is it really that hard to find a few minutes a day to squeeze in a little exercise?

These are the questions I've been asking myself for quite some time now. I've always struggled a bit with my weight, but when I was younger, it was a little easier to lose it. As I get older (and heavier), it seems to get harder and harder. And I'm not blaming ...
Or maybe it can.

Why do I have such a hard time with losing weight? What's so difficult about making healthier food choices? Is it really that hard to find a few minutes a day to squeeze in a little exercise?

These are the questions I've been asking myself for quite some time now. I've always struggled a bit with my weight, but when I was younger, it was a little easier to lose it. As I get older (and heavier), it seems to get harder and harder. And I'm not blaming metabolism, or the aging process. I'm talking about emotionally. I can't seem to stick with anything (except bad habits!) for more than a few days. I know it works. I've seen it. I'll eat right and exercise for a few days, and I can tell a huge difference in how I feel and I can usually even see the results on the scale. But I just can't seem to make myself stick with it for very long.

I love fruit. I love most vegetables. I love fish and chicken. So why do I choose the fast-food tacos or burgers for lunch? Why can't I turn away from those Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs in the grocery store?

If I can find the answers to those questions, maybe I'll finally be able to make the lifestyle change needed to get healthy. In the meantime, I'm starting over. Again.

Hi, thanks for commenting on my blog, I really appreciate it. Now we just have to go for it. I know how good I felt when I lost weight last year and I know I want to feel like that again. So I just have to do it.

I find myself in your exact same delima, I have started over time and time again. Tired of being tired and never seem to be able to stick to anything. So.. here I go again, but I have been sticking for 2 weeks come this Wednesday this time. Point being, if I can do it, I have all the faith in the world in you! I have about the same amount as you to lose. Feel free to add me as a friend, send me a message, comment, etc. It is time to rally together on our new wagon! :) We can do this!
