I want to be in better shape for my weekend walk on Sept 5 and 6.
Just finishing up Whole30 program. Sticking with the sugar ban. Will try some low fat dairy and see how that goes.
I am 49, living in southwestern Ontario. I am married for 20 years and I have a daughter and 2 step-daughters - all are grown up and married. I have a beautiful golden retriever and an equally beautiful calico cat.
I love walking, swimming, reading and watching horror movies. I love taking my dog to the beach and walking on the beach.
~~1~~ ""THE VALUE OF ONE"" ~~1~~ To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who just missed a train . To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask someone who just avoided an accident. To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal at the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with. And remember time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why its called the present.
A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it, and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give. -- Author Unknown
