Wow - I lost 30 pounds in my first year (July 2011 -2012) and have been keeping that off for almost a year, improving fitness, and learning what I need to be the healthiest in mind and body. Excited for the challenges ahead!

July 2011; I'm 42 at the beginning of this journey, wanting to make some changes and get fit and healthy for a long and enjoyable life. My first goal is to get down to 200 pounds, which I never really remember being before!

I am starting with the book 28 day program and am already feeling the results. I walk the dog a mile every night and get some cardio Crunch on Netflix Watch it Now most days. I'm already a compulsive water drinker and good sleeper, gardener and creative cook. So, I feel like I have a lot going for me. We can do it!

My Goals:
first goal is to get below 200 pounds, to get more active and fit, for my joints, and for my husband and 2 young boys. to live long and enjoy it!

Trick or Treat Trot: Virtual 5k; (Done! Great fun)

Lentil Festival 5K 2012 (I may be walking it, but I will do it)

My Program:
Tracking fitness and nutrition every day.

Cardio at least 5 times a week and ST most days.

joining challenges, and reading other members pages and blogs for motivation.

Monthly Weigh-ins; except for the seasonal challenges

I teach in eastern Washington, I'm 42 years old and ready to make some life changes.

I have a wonderful husband and 2 young boys, so I have a lot to live and THRIVE for.

50- (also next 10% goal) Weekend Trip w/ the Old Man!
