Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, 7/15/14 (I'm at my heaviest weight here. 220 pounds!)

I need to reverse this. I need to lose weight so I can look as good as I did in 2008. I let myself go and I really need to change myself and start eating healthier.

I am a 23 year old who wants to live a healthier lifestyle. I started dating my husband in 08/08/2010 when I weighed around 170 lbs. We got married on 07/12/2014. I am now at 220 lbs as of 08/07/2014. I have been getting heart burn more frequently and I huff and puff when I go up the stairs in our apartment. On our honeymoon cruise, we were on the 9th floor and I was out of breath and my face was red every time we took the stairs. We avoided elevators, because of the crowds. I have tried this website out multiple times in the past and seem to not be able to stay motivated. This time, I have to do this. My uncle died at 33 when I was 5 years old, because of a heart attack and he was over weight. I'm afraid that I am going towards his direction. My weight keeps going up when I need it to go down. The last full-time job I had was working at a call center where I sat down all day. And I didn't exercise at all minus the occasional yoga. So my weight went up instead of the opposite. I need to do this for myself and for my family. I want to actually live my life!

My Goals:
-To be able to do 20 perfect push-ups by December. (12-8-14) [Not completed, yet]

-To lose 20lbs by January. (01-8-15) [Not completed, yet]

-To lose weight before our cruise to Scotland/Ireland in 2016.

My Program:
-Play Xbox 360 Kinect.
-Take dogs on long walks.
-Do strength training exercises.
-Eat healthier.
-Burn more calories than I consume.
-Do steps 5 times a week to tone legs and thighs.

Personal Information:
I am from a small town in the middle of no where, but now I live in CT with my husband, Adam and our two dogs. We tend to move a lot. This is our 4th state we've lived in within 2 years.

    hi. I was just stopping by b/c It seems we both have similar goals. I am 184 as well (i'll get to weigh-in on thursday and hopefully have lost some)... and would like to get to 155 by May. May will be my 21st birthday and I want to look and feel beautiful. I also have similar interests. My boyfriend has me ADDICTED to COD and Black Ops. I definitely think we can help eachother through this!
