One Day At A Time
Hi guys! In 2005, I injured my back, and two years later finally had surgery. During that time, I was pretty inactive due to the intense pain and gained a lot of weight. Most of my back pain is now gone, but I still deal with arthritis from time to time. When I started SP in Sept 2010, my goal was to lose 83 pounds by June 2011. It was hampered by what my doctors and I thought was a meniscus tear in my right knee. Instead, we found out that I am really suffering from the beginning of osteoarthritis (Genetic). Quite concerned about this, I've decided to be very proactive in order to slow the progress of OA down. Since, I've really tried not to get down on myself if I don't lose the weight as fast as everyone else. Slow and steady wins the race. In May 2012, I finished massage therapy school. I love it. It takes a lot of stamina and hard work to do full body massages, and I find myself continuing to focus on losing weight and be healthy so I can do a good job at something I love. Although I will be back at school this fall, massage therapy school really helped me focus on my health. That's me, basically. I hope you enjoy my page!

My Goals:
My goal weight is currently 150. Once I hit that weight, I plan on deciding what my next goal should be, or if I should maintain. Goal weights: 240: Done 235: Done 230: Done 225: Done 220: Done 215: Done 210: Done 205: Done 200: 195: 190 185 180 175 170 165 160 155 150 145 140
My Program:
I am exercising 7 days a week. I walk on the treadmill at an incline pretty much every day, and then if iI have time, I add other exercise. I love working out to different Jillian Michael's DVDS. Mainly, I just work my butt off, even when the scale doesn't go down as fast as I like. I'd rather lose it slow and steady than gain it all back right away.
Personal Information:
I live in Minnesota. I am a certified massage therapist.
