Direction - not intention determines destination. (The Principle of the Path: How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be - Andy Stanley) If only intentions could carry us to our weight loss goals. Determining your direction and having a solid plan can keep you on the right path. Also do not underestimate the power of positive support. Since you're on Spark People you're already in reach of at least one of the ingredients needed for success. I would also recccommend a seat belt! When you decide to live the healthy lifestyle, you might come upon some twists and turns you werent expecting. Hold on to the principles you have learned, and keep on taking one step forward. One step ahead of where you were before - and that's progress! That's what you want to do, where you want to be - progressing! Slowly moving, still beats not moving at all. Don't lose hope. Very best wishes for your new Sparked Life!

My Program:
Almost vegetarian but not quite - Im flexitarian! Walk at least 15 minutes a day. I would love to have my bike back, but it triggers my spasticity, so Ill need to find another activity. Pray. Study. Not focusing on the scale and achievement as much on how Im physically and mentally feeling.
Personal Information:
I am the sparker formerly known as RELUCTANTWRITER. One of the daily spark's entries inspired me to change my name to something a bit more postive! I have 2 auto immune illnesses and a great big helping of fear. It's a good thing I have even bigger helpings of grace, courage and hope! I take an injection every other day to help slow the progression of my MS. Never thought I could do it, but God's grace has allowed me to for the past 7 years now. I love tea! Love, love, love tea!
Other Information:
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow." Mary Anne Radmacher Inspired to always do my best - "When we do the best that we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another." Helen Keller
