So I llllllllooooooovvvvvveeeeeee to read as well...and one of my favorite splurges has been audiobooks. I'm a member of audible.com so that I can get a pretty good deal on books to listen to while I'm running or whatever at the gym, but a more financially savvy friend of mine goes the library to get CDs that she rips to mp3s to get the same effect. It might be worth checking out if you want to try to combine something you already like with exercise. It would probably be easier than trying to knit while you are in yoga class, but if you can do that, more power to you. :)
