My Program:
I have been trying to watch what I eat and walk each day. However due to some health issues and the medication for these problems it is very difficult to make a lot of headway. I start lossing quite well, then something happens and I gain part or all of the weight back. It does get very frustrating!

Hi, I just noticed one of your comments, about being discouraged. Try the 17 Day Diet. the book is $30.00 Canadian. It is broken up in to 4 sections. On the first 17 days, I lost 26 pounds. I felt great, had all kinds of energy, was in a good mood, all of the time. I also go to the local pool for water aerobics, do a little yoga, and walk.
I slipped a bit, this winter and gained about 5 pounds back, but am ready to tackle the diet again. It is 80% diet and 20% exercise. I do hope this helps you. I wish you the best..Andrea (Fun Loving People Over 60)

Thanks for stopping by my page. I'm doing much better. Still struggling with my weight loss but I know it will take time to lose the weight. I'm just taking it one day at a time and doing my best. My back has been bothering me so I haven't really been doing much in the exercise area. I did go for physical therapy, but after I got done there I hurt worse than before I got there. I was in so much pain. They gave me some exercises to do and one of them is getting on the floor and lying on my stomach. I have a hard time getting back off the floor so I don't usually do exercises that I have to get on the floor for. I don't think I'll be doing these exercises either. Oh well. How have you been doing? Hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for stopping by my page. I've got a cold right now that I'm trying to get over and that's bringing me down right now. However, the way that I stay motivated is I look at the small reward that I set for myself when I lose so much weight. That is what keeps me on track. I try not to look at how much I have to lose totally because I can become very depressed knowing I have over 100 pounds yet to lose so I look at the smaller goal. It works for me and I also get a reward for accomplishing it. Remember to take baby steps through this process. This is a lifestyle change and not a diet so it will take time. It doesn't happen overnight.

If I can be of anymore help or just someone to talk with, let me know.
