Exercising every day is my one thing. I began working out for 30 minutes or more on November 10th, 2011. On March 11, 2012, I changed it to 60 minutes. I get 7 hours a week of exercise.

I walk around my neighborhood, going on longer and longer walks. I also work-out on my stationary bike and my stair stepper. I use a twist disk too, which is like doing the twist.

If I can't work out long enough one day, I will make it up another day the same week. I am being very disciplined about this because there is a family history of heart disease and diabetes.

Exercising more has helped me lower the dose of pain medication that I use, and to have less pain overall. Having frequent migraines, this is very important to me.

I have not been losing any weight, from the exercising, so I am thinking of working out for 90 minutes a day. But before I do that, I'm going to walk every day for a month, and see how that goes. Because I've been doing other things, and walking is a weight-bearing exercise. So it might help a lot. I started June 2, 2012.

Another thing that I need to work on is functional fitness, that's when you're able to do your chores in addition to working out. Usually, I'm too worn out to do any work at home.

I also need to add in push-ups and crunches too. My goal is to be able to do 100 of each.

Because of a UTI, and a painful hip, and breathing problems on top of my sinus infection, I've decided to end my exercise streak. The last day I worked out was 6-13-2012. I'll start it up again soon. I can barely walk right now.

My Program:
I work out an hour every day, and I take no days off.

I started a 30+ minutes fitness streak on November 10, 2011.

I live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, in Portland, Oregon. What I love most about my area is all the trees. Our city has a lot of trees, and we are surrounded by forested areas.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading it. The fabrics that were shown are only available at independent fabric/quilt shops, so it was a special treat to see the collection.

Hi Hannah! thanks so much for reading my blog and agreeing in prayer with me for that baby girl! I agree - the medical advances today are nothing short of miraculous... when I read the story, I was thinking "can you imagine how the doctor would feel who has to do that surgery?" I mean, even if he's so experienced and talented, I would think there would be some feelings of concern... he's literally holding that tiny baby's head and face in his hands! oh my goodness, the mother must've been nervous during the surgery!

I read your post on the PTSD team about joining your private group for women. I would like join! I have been looking for such a group because I don't feel comfortable sharing on the public team. I want to talk to and share with others who understand PTSD in a private setting .

I've been away, but I'm back now. I still try to get a lot of exercising in. Right now, I'm working out every day on my exercise for an hour a day.
