Time to get serious...again

I'm a 43 year old mom of 2 children. My oldest is my 19 year old stepdaughter who is your typical teenager, but I love her anyway. My youngest is 4 and he is my angel.

I have been back on SparkPeople for almost a year and have lost a total of 30 pounds. I still have 30-40 pounds that I want to lose, but I'm proud of my accomplishment. I lost the first 30 pounds in 4-5 months during 2010 and haven't lost any since, in reality I have gained 15 back that I lost.

I exercise for a minimum of 45 minutes a day usually on the treadmill or outside. I'm trying to learn to jog and to make my first goal of running a 5K.

My goals for this year, to run a 5K and get my eating back under control and hopefully reach my goal weight.

My Goals:
My goal is to be to a healthy weight for both me and my children and also that I again like what I see in the mirror.

Run a 5K
Reach my goal weight in 2012.

My Program:
I'm going to truly watch what I eat and try and stay within my calorie counts. I'm also going to try and exerise as muh as possible

Personal Information:
I'm a daughter, sister, wife and mother from Mechanisburg PA. I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager and for a few years I actually maintained a healthy weight but a unhealthy lifestyle...I never exercised and lived on chips and pepsi (I was very early 20s). I have since struggled to achieve a healthy weight and have not succeeded, but I keep trying.

Other Information:
I love to read and spend time with my family. I got an e-reader for Christmas and since then I have been on a goal to read 75 books this year.

My extra 2 hours yesterday was by getting others to close down co-op yesterday. I was able to leave by 1 instead of 3!
